Sectigo SSL EV Multi-Domain SSL Certificate
Multi-Domain SSL certificates allow a single certificate to secure multiple domains, including sub-domains of a single main domain name or entirely different domain names.
For registered organisations that want a simpler way to secure their websites, a 1 year Sectigo EV Multi-Domain SSL Certificate is a perfect fit for their needs.
A Multi-Domain SSL Certificate is also commonly referred to as a UCC SSL (Unified Communications Certificate) or a SAN SSL (Subject Alternative Names) Certificate.
One of these certificates can secure up to 250 unique domains with a single solution. They provide a convenient option for organisations that own many domains and are looking for a simplified way to secure them through a single solution rather than purchasing an individual certificate for each additional domain or host name.
Through visual trust indicators - like the appearance of HTTPS, the padlock, and a dynamic site seal - visitors will know the site is secured.
The EV (Extended Validation) SSL certificate has very strict industry guidelines that our validation specialists make as simple a possible with minimal action required from you.
The validation of your organisation can be completed using 1 of 3 methods:
DCV:Email to the address listed in the WHOIS Registrant, Administrative, or Technical contact information or admin, administrator, hostmaster, postmaster or webmaster
DNS TXT: If you are able to modify the domain's DNS Record to include a TXT record you will be provided with the DNS TXT entry and random value
DNS CNAME: If you are able to modify the DNS Record to include a CNAME record you will be provided with a random value to assign to a CNAME
HTTP(S): If you are able to make a file containing a random value available at a specific URL for the pending domain you will be provided with the file name, location and random value
In addition verification of the registration and country of business will be undertaken
